I have loved writing my whole life. I am much better at the written word than the spoken one. Writing and journaling became important to me as a girl and I still love it today. It helps me to process the ups and downs of life and clears my mind.  All those years of pouring myself onto the tear-stained pages taught me so much about finding my voice and developing my gift.​​

The seed for this book was planted in my heart when I was a mere fifth grader. At that time it was not clear to me that it would be about the horror I was living in then. Decades later I began writing...and a 20 year journey began.  ​​

There are not enough words to express the gratitude that I have for My Heavenly Father. He showed me light where there was only darkness. He brought me healing, hope, my true love, children, grandchildren, and joy unspeakable. My cup runneth over. ​​

My hope is that 'Listen' will touch the hearts of my readers through sharing how God took this scared, broken little girl who had been silenced in the worst way, and turned her into this powerful woman who has found her voice and isn't afraid to use it! Are you listening?
